A word about Jodean’s Book
I’ve updated the Jodean’s Book page with a detailed look into my motivations behind writing the book, entitled “Stop Surviving and Start Thriving: 6 Steps to be a Better You.”
I am targeting having the book out this summer, but in the meantime, definitely swing by the Jodean’s Book page (there’s a link in the top navigation, or you can click here). In the meantime, here’s an excerpt of the page’s content:
I wrote “Stop Surviving and Start Thriving: 6 steps to a be a better you” for all of us who have suffered loss, struggle with the same issue on a daily basis, have had many plastic surgeries or surgeries, cancer survivors and those suffering from an eating disorder. Thankfully I have never had cancer, however, I have had over 20 surgeries to reconstruct my face and my eye and I very well know the deep feelings of disappointment, loss, guilt and shame that comes with having many surgeries. Losing my eye was a life changing experience indeed and left me only surviving each day. I don’t remember the exact day, but suffering each day for over 10 years with post traumatic stress disorder, bulimia, cutting myself compulsively, and depression exhausted from my existence I courageously made the decision to stop settling for the way things were and start living and thriving.
Very excited for you it sounds exciting and you are a terrific writer. You go Girl!!!! Can hardly wait for the final version.
